Salman Khan’s home in the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai was targeted by five shots fired by two suspects on a motorcycle early on Sunday morning. While the police were looking into every possibility, Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently incarcerated, was purportedly the author of a Facebook post that claimed responsibility for the shooting.

Later in the evening, police sources named Vishal, also known as Kalu, as a suspect who had been seen on CCTV. Vishal is a gunman for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Raj Tilak Roshan of Zone 9 said, “At approximately five in the morning, two unidentified males arrived on a motorcycle and fired shots outside actor Salman Khan’s apartment before fleeing the area. Four or five bullets were fired. Fifteen police teams have been assembled to look into the matter. We are investigating every facet of the situation and hope to apprehend the gunmen shortly.

The “first and last warning” for Khan, according to Anmol Bishnoi, who is believed to be hiding in Canada and is wanted for the May 2022 murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala, was the shooting, according to a Facebook post. He said, “From now on, we will not shoot at walls or empty houses.”

One of the suspects, Vishal, is thought to be employed by Bishnoi gang member and Rajasthani mobster Rohit Godara. Godara is presently operating out of Canada and is wanted in other high-profile murder cases, including Moosewala’s.

According to reports, last month in Rohtak, Vishal murdered trash trader Sachin in front of his family. The abandoned motorcycle was discovered by the police one kilometer from Khan’s home, close to a church. It was registered to a Panvel homeowner, and the police are looking into possible theft.
